I believe it was Audrey Hepburn who first said "Paris is always a good idea" and I absolutely adore Paris, it is a beautiful city with magnificent architecture. I went to France with my family for six days, we stayed at Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch in a town called Bailly-Romainvilliers, just 10 minutes from the Disney parks! There are two parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
We decided to go to Disneyland Park first and spend a whole day there. One of the perks of staying at a Disney hotel is that you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours in the parks. This is from 8 am to 10 am and only guests staying at a Disney hotel can enter the park before it opens, which is an amazing idea. We went on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Space Mountain: Mission 2 with only having to queue up for 10 minutes! We then went on a lot more rides including Peter Pan's Flight, It's a small world, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril and Pirates of the Caribbean. Just before we left for the day I just had to take a picture standing in front of sleeping beauty's castle - I felt like such a big kid wearing my Minnie ears! After an exhausting day we went back to our little cabin, had some dinner and went straight to bed.
The next day we woke up early, collected our breakfast basket from the little hut which consisted of croissants, baguettes, yogurts, milk, orange juice and little pots of jam and nutella. We went to Walt Disney Studios Park. My favourite ride was The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, I must have gone on that ride over 5 times! We also went on Crush's Coaster which was a fun thrill ride and the new ride Ratatouille: The Adventure which was also very good, both rides are a must when going to Walt Disney Studios.
We spent two full days in the park, now to explore Paris. We took a train from Gare de Marne-la-Valée - Chessy train station which was right by the disneyland parks into central Paris. Our first stop was the most popular tourist attraction in France, The Eiffel Tower.
Our next stop was the Arc de Triomphe and then we went to the Montparnasse Tower. The Montparnasse Tower is a 210m office skyscraper and at the top it has an observation deck which overlooks Paris and the Eiffel Tower. I had an amazing time in France, I would definitely want to return to Paris and explore more.
