DUBAI DREAMS 2K18

17 July 2018

 A dream come true!

So back in June, me and a couple of my best friends went to DUBAI!!!

We flew out from London Heathrow on a Monday evening and arrived early Tuesday morning, so we had the whole day ahead of us! (We were all obviously so tired after not sleeping on the flight). If you're interested, on the flight I finally watched The Greatest Showman and I LOVED it! I can now understand all the hype around it haha!

Anyway, back to Dubai ... we checked in, got comfortable and decided to head straight to the pools!

In the evening we got dressed up and headed to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa. It was very very busy during the evening and of course it would be because everyone wants to see the sunset! I would definitely recommend going in the morning as it opens so its less busy and you get to take pictures calmly. But also the views at night are so so nice! #thestruggles

The next morning we decided to go Emirates Mall, and went to IHOP for breakfast and lets just say the pancake portions were HUGE! I got the Strawberry Banana Pancakes and definitely couldn't finish it all!! Then we decided to go back to the hotel to swim some more! In the evening we went to The Cheesecake Factory - this was my first time trying their cheesecake and O M G it was amazing!

WHY DO WE NOT HAVE CHEESECAKE FACTORY IN THE UK!!! I CRY :(

The next day we went to the pool again and checked out the hotel's private beach. And I mean private, IT WAS EMPTY - mainly because it was TOO HOT but still.

Then we had a desert safari tour, taking us into the Arabian desert. A must do when coming to Dubai! I did try out quad biking whilst we were there and that was so much fun!! Scary but fun!

On Friday, we went to Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark and this was the best ever! The water slides were amazing, one even went through the aquarium. The lazy rivers were the best thing, I had so much fun! (Don't really have any pics from here because my phone was in the locker) Tip: Bring extra money for renting out lockers and food, also bring your own towels from your hotel because you have to rent towels too.

Saturday was our last official day, so we chilled out at the pool and private beach for the majority of the day (and took lots of pics!). We then went to Dubai Marina and went on the Yellow Boats, which is a speed boat tour of the marina, Burj Al Arab and Atlantis hotel.

When we went the seas were very very very rough so I did feel quite sea sick and you get soaked! (So would recommend not bothering doing your hair and makeup because it will just get ruined! - as you can tell from my pic). Yellow Boats were good, apart from feeling sea sick so would not recommend if you know you get sea sick! After we went to P.F Changs and had some food.

So ... the trip and this blog post has come to an end. Dubai was amazing, and I am so so lucky I got to go. It is such an insane place and would recommend going if you haven't been! Thank you to all of you that stuck through this long post :)

Until next time,
