Hi again! Hope you're all well :)
For today's post I'm partnering up with London Psychology Centre, to let you know more about them and the services they provide. They are based in the UK and Pakistan and developed because of the huge unmet demands of appropriate mental health provisions for people in Pakistan. It has been estimated that 90% of people with mental health issues are not able to access adequate services.
In the last 50 years, people in Pakistan have started to become more aware of mental health issues which has resulted in academic institutes providing training to Clinical Psychologists. The London Psychology Centre is affiliated with the University of Management and Technology, Sialkot and supports the training of Clinical Psychologists.
The Clinical Psychologists treat mental health difficulties using talking therapies which can be provided through face to face, group and therapy via video links.
Some of the mental health difficulties they treat are ...
- Anxiety
- Depression
- OCD
- Panic Disorders
- Phobias
- Exam Stress
- Eating Disorders
- PTSD
- Trauma
- Sexual Abuse
