SCOTLAND TREK - MENTAL HEALTH FUNDRAISING

30 July 2022

It has been a LONG time since I've written anything for this blog. It wasn't a priority in my life but something recently made me remember how much I love to write, so I've decided to take it up again... even if no one is interested haha!

For my first post back I thought I'd write about something so so exciting that I am doing in September. I am raising money for Mental Health UK, a charity close to my heart, by going on a 5 day trek in the Scottish Highlands!! Yes, you heard correctly I am going to be walking for at least 6-7hrs a day, climbing uphill and going up a freaking mountain!! I am defintely going to be taking lots of pictures and maybe do a vlog... so keep an eye out for updates :)

I have a goal of £2250 to achieve and that is where I need your support. Please donate whatever amount you can, I appreciate it all. And please share my page to your friends, family and the community.

Mental Health UK

Mental Health UK is a charity that supports individuals who experience mental health difficulties, providing them with the tools to live their best possible lives. And this is something that I am truly passionate about. I want to do my part and help the small community I have around me by educating, making you more aware of important topics surrounding mental health and in turn making the world a better place. Everyone has a part to play and even the smallest donation will make a difference to someone.

There are approximately 7.5 million people in the UK living with a diagnosed mental health problem. 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem every year. The statistics are shocking and make you realise that everyone at one point in their life will have experienced difficulties relating to their mental health. And especially now that we've experienced a pandemic, the numbers have definitely risen.
